Lebron

Sure there are many basketball players in the NBA today. There has been many greats throught the years and many to come. Greats like Micheal Jordan and the all doing Magic Johnson have come and gone each with a significant story of their own. But, there they stand with unlike any story like the one player of of Saint Marys High school in Akron Ohio. Lebron James is certainly a one of a kind and will never see this type of player in the game again. Of course today you can just flip on the channel and see about any game an player of a given day. But, do you actually see that player? Who a player really is, where they have come from and who they truly are.
Bron was raised by his mother, Gloria James; as best she could in his early years. Unknown to most the James duo struggled. Tough times fell on the family. "Glo" couldn't handle all of the pressure of being a single mother and working the sixty hour work week to try to keep it all together. Growing up Lebron didn't have a father figure or a constant place to truly call home. Moving from one place to another every other week became a daily concern. He wasn't being raised in up in Orange County but, within the very streets we lock our doors if we drove through. Some of the roughest streets in Ohio. With all the problems at home it wasn't even questioned that he would have problems at school. Even in the beginning at forth grade he had only attended twenty-five percent of his classes. This wasn't uncommon in these areas. But, best as she could Glo and her son towards the end of the year would catch up on all of his missed assignments so that he could proceed to the next grade.
Noticed by many the best friend duo of Glo and her son Lerbon was very close. The mother was all that James had. Still the uncertainly of his father remains. Seen still at every one of Lebron's game is his mother baseline with her custom made jersey. Now with the number six on it with
"That's my baby", boldly printed on the back. Always being the loudest and proudest person in the building. With all the troubles at home Gloria knew that she needed help. She looked to try and find a stable place from Lebron to grow up. She knew enough people to help and one certainly was up to the task. The Walkins family was the best choice having a son the same age as Lebron and the prefect situational suited place for Lebron. Even through he lived at his knew found home; there was never question the time that he would spend with his mother. Looking at him many would soon notice his tattoos but, get a closer look they are of his mother and her name across his biceps and chest, realizing the pain that she had adored and the sacrifices she had made so he could get to the point that he is at now.
The Walkins family was truly the best fit for Bron. Even with the awkwardness of the black step child into their white suburb life, it worked. A stable environment with a constant reinforcement on education. Finally securing a father figure for young Bron. Also gaining a friend in Justin his new found brother. But, the most important thing with this new family was what he was introduced to. The one thing that would make Lebron become famous and make headlines and be the ultimate young prodigy. That one thing being a very simple one, round little ball known as a basketball. Entering his fifth grade having prefect attendance and a remarkable turn around in his grades. Glo could now relax a little knowing that her son was finally on the right track.
